I got this because I do my best to keep plaque from forming and hurting my gums. Unfortunately I had been directed to the periodontist a couple of years ago for a very painful and expensive procedure. And up until that point knowing from my Dentist that my gums were getting worse I did everything under the sun to try and reverse what was happening for well over five years. My spouse stated I was spending so much time on my teeth it might be not be good for them. I bought dozens and dozens of creams, washes, paste etc and many of them from ZeeBooth claiming a quick cure. But nothing worked. Didn't even slow it down. Now after some study later and understanding what causes that I am a bit late to say the least for prevention and treatment but at least I still have the chance to maintain my healthy gums now. IMO probiotics will be the future medicine for all our health maintenance and prevention. It all starts on the microbial level. Scientist are learning now even our mood and anxiety are influenced and to some extent possibly controlled by our Gut Microbiome. The probiotics in this brand are mostly focused on oral and gut health . Some of the strains focus on attempting to improve ones immune response to that which we don't want. Now do not be misled into thinking this will easily cure oral ailments. While it's not impossible it sometimes can require extensive treatment depending on what it is exactly and the severity. My Periodontist told me just last week that were actually three bad bacterias involved with gums. Which brings me to my complaint for this supplement is that it is missing the probiotic 'Akkermansia Muciniphila' which inhibits fusobacterium which is enemy number one for gums IMO. A quick search on that will show what scientist are finding when A. Muciniphila is used against fusobacterium. Ironically I take A. Muciniphila from this very brand Vitamatic. They have the best price on it by far IMO. Now it's in capsule form and I have to open the capsule and pour it in my mouth but it kinda taste nice in a weird way !? So my suggestion to Vitamatic is add that probiotic to this product no doubt. This brand Vitamatic is IMO amassing quite the collection of probiotics they offer. They almost always have the best price or close to it IMO. I like with the Salivarius Complex it's chewable so the bacteria at first has a chance to establish itself in your mouth. These have a faint mint taste to them and no bad aftertaste. I have had no sides with these and very happy I found this. Good Luck and Hope this was Helpful.

Gut AND oral microbiome are important to one's health. This helps with both, with focus on the mouth. Flavor was just right and not too overpowering. I wish they wouldn't use stevia extract, so be aware if you have issues with stevia.
