I use this for work as an EMT. I carry my badge, 6 hospital cards in plastic covers and sometimes the ambulance keys. The retractable cord is great for having to unlock doors with the card while juggling a stretcher. It's very tough and great quality. I'll probably buy some as gifts for my coworkers.

Absolutely love this Keychain. Use it everyday for my job (my employer provides this exact brand keychain for a different set of keys that we turn in everyday to mgmt which is where I got the idea to get this specific brand but it says alot about the product itself) it's amazing quality super heavy duty and the length is long enough for me to pull it all the way from my waist line to fully extended arms length up to a badge scanner thats above my head level. Amazing. I got some long a*s arms son. It's also relatively light not too heavy like I thought it would be since it looks bulky. It's also super cute I love black and simplicity so it's versatility is amazing.

These are so strong and snap back with authority. But that little notch in the caribiner makes it so hard to unclip them at the end of the day. I gotta be able to take my work keys off my belt without having to take my pants off, bruh! This would be a five-star review if not for that notch.

I have bought a total of 13 of these ID/badge holders from this brand (1 single and 6x 2-packs) over the last two years (May '22, April '23, and June '24). That's not to say that I have NEEDED that many of them. On the contrary, I have replaced my ID holder once each year. I replaced my ID holder last year because the nylon wrapping on the steel cable was cracking, which had caused some rusting to occur on the cable since I spend a lot of time walking around in the rain at work. The cable still had plenty of life in it, but I felt like it would be a good time to replace it. This year, I had a "catastrophic" failure of the ID holder, with the PVC clasp snapping clean in half. However, I didn't lose my badge and other cards that were on the ID holder, because the PVC clasp also has a web reinforcement which prevented the cards from falling off. In fact, even after having the failure, I finished my shift, and worked two more shifts with the failed badge holder, until some new ones came in this week. The reason I have bought so many over the two years is actually because of how good they are. I have given away 8 of these ID holders to coworkers of mine who have had their own ID holders break. One of my coworkers bought a couple more of his own after I gave him one, because he was impressed with the construction and ruggedness of the items, which is perfect for the field we work in where we have to wear tactical gear 12 hours at a time.

These are durable and secure. The clip allows it to fit on a belt loop and the swivel keeps it from breaking when bending over. The reel is a little thick but that comes with the durability. Versatile badge holder thatll keep those mist have IDs on your person.
